Brothers and Sisters,

Spring is around the corner and new starts and beginings are to happen. Well for the construction season it is not the case. Residential construction is very slow and does not seem to pick up anytime soon. Commerical Construction is declining in the private sector also.One good note is that Elgin Community College has started the first phase of construction at the S.R.C.located 466 Renner Dr. Elgin Il. At the end of public school year there will be some remodeling at various school within Kane County. In Kane County we could have potentially could have forty million dollars of bonds to finance small bridge construction in the county. The problem is that Kane County Board failed a part of the bond that would tax viedo gaming this was to offset a tax increase. This new tax would of taxed v gaming and paid for some of the bonds to pay for new bridges in the county. Please contact the Kane County members to reconsider taxing v-gaming, this means work for Carpenters for this construction season. If nothing is done monies will go to counties that passed v-gaming. The Kane County Board number is 630-232-5931
